Comments The main part of the monumental building at Boschstraat 70 was built in the first half of the 17th century (± 1642). It was remodelled, restored and extended several times (1780, 1840, 1880, 1920, 1964). Despite all architectural changes that have occurred in the past the building still bears the familiarity, grown over generations, with the country, the climate and materials as well as with the way of life of the people and their cultural background. Many historic elements with architectural value were preserved during the last restoration process that started by the end of 1998. |
